When you purchase a puppy from us, you can rest assured that we have taken the time and necessary care to provide you with a confident, happy, and healthy puppy.

Here at Doodling Around Indiana - Poodles and Doodles, we invest in your puppy like its going to be our own puppy. Listed are some programs that we believe will help ensure your puppy will have a great start in life that will last a lifetime.

B.A.B.: BAB curriculum provide puppies with a foundation of experiences and skills that will help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adult dogs. We include temperament testing using B.A.B. curriculum to place puppies into homes that are best suited to them.

E.N.S - Early Neurological Stimulation: Simple exercises to which you expose puppies from 3-16 days old to help their development, resilience, and coping mechanisms. Here is the benefits of ENS: Boost brain development, improve circulation and immune system, and improved stress response in later life, among other benefits.

E.S.I. - Early Scent Introduction: Early scent introduction is a concept developed by Dr Gayle Watkins who is a breeder and scientist. From days 3 to 16, your puppy will be exposed to natural scents (no chemicals or meat products). Scent is a way that puppies experience the world. Introducing natural scents early can help with the following: Enhanced confidence and stability in adults, and reduced behavior issues in the long term.

What you can expect on Puppy Pick Up Day:

This is an exciting day for us and you. We want this to be a memory to cherish. When you take your puppy to their fur-ever home, you will also be taking home a peace of mind. Included with your puppy are the following:

30 days of TruPanion pet insurance (must be activated 24 hours before or after puppy pick up)
All puppies come with a 24 month GENETIC guarantee (explained further in the contract)
Every puppy will be microchipped - you will receive a registration card for your puppy
Your puppy will have a minimum of first vaccines (depending on age)
Several series of deworming treatments
Health checked by a veterinarian
Dew claws removed
Copies of health records and signed documents
Goodie bag with the litter mates & mom's scent, toy, treats, and a bar of locally made goat's milk soap for your puppy, plus more!

Our Policy Regarding Early Visitation:

We enjoy what we do because it gives us a way to meet new families and friends along the way. We want our puppies to have great homes for their lifetime as part of your family. One thing we take serious is care for our breeding dogs and giving their puppies the best start. We take the protection and care of our puppies serious because they aren’t only our puppies first, they are someone else’s forever. When they are 8 to 10 weeks old, they can go to their forever home.

Our visitation policy is very limited. Viruses can live on clothing and on shoes from everyday public places and possibly transferred to our puppies through cross contamination. We take this very serious because this could endanger an entire litter within 48 hours of contact. Therefore we limit in-person visitation until after 6 weeks of the puppies life to ensure their health and well being, and the safety of our program.

We will be spending time with you via video chat, sharing photos, and through our social media pages. We are always available if you have any questions or need any special arrangements to stay connected to your future puppy.
